Moldovan physicians warn of patients self-treatment
Four in ten Moldovans do not go to a doctor when they get a cold. They go right to the drugstore and buy medicines recommended by pharmacists or friends. These conclusions come out of a poll carried out by a research company.
The young people getting bigger salaries than the average ignore the family doctor even more often.
Most of them are aged 18 – 35, live in cities, are not married and receive over $250 a month.
Physicians warn that the incorrect treatment of colds may harm one’s health. The adverse reactions may appear because of neglecting the dosage or warnings.
