28 employees of the Interior Ministry were detained by anti-corruption prosecutors, being suspected of bribery.

The operation was carried out by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office jointly with the Police General Inspectorate.

Ad interim general prosecutor Eduard Harunjen says the number of the detained officers could rise. The prosecutor claims that detainees took bribes and everything was filmed by an undercover policemen.
