Prime Minister Pavel Filip has sent a condolences message to his Portuguese counterpart António Costa, in connection to the devastating wildfires in Portugal.
"We a deeply grieved such a calamity took away innocent lives and left deep marks in the survivors’ souls," Pavel Filip wrote.
The Premier has expressed sincere feelings of solidarity with the Portuguese on behalf of the Moldovan people and has sent condolences to the relatives of the deceased and quick convalescence to the injured.
The death toll amounted to 62, according to the latest reports.
