A citizen of Moldova attempted to smuggle 6 000 cigarettes packs hidden under the car's seats.

The incident took place at Albiţa customs, where a 30-year-old man was driving a car registered in Iaşi.

The seized cigarettes are worth over 5 900 lei and the man received a 5 000 Romanian Lei fine, equivalent with 22 000 Moldovan lei.
