Moldovan strawberries and cereals on European Market
The Project Implementation Unit Competitiveness Enhancement (UIPAC) approved funding for three other cases.Companies who want to export to the European Union strawberries, organic cereal and wine.
"Business Impex Group" company of Criuleni village exported strawberries in the value chain and now intends to reach supermarket chains in the European Union. The company requested financial support from PAC Grants, including from abroad.
Another company that will benefit from financial assistance is "Purcari". The enterprise now exports over 25 countries including USA, Canada, UK, Norway, Czech Republic, China, Poland, the Baltic States, Korea, and in Romania even became one of the market leaders. Even so, company managers want to enhance their export competitiveness.
To this end, the company requested grant for market research in target markets for agricultural consultancy, technological and oenological.
And the company "Prograin Organic" has been accepted for funding from the PAC grants. The company's core activity is to develop organic agriculture in Moldova, through the initiation and development of the whole value chain of organic cereals from farmers and training to deal with the marketing of organic products.
So far 29 have been approved for funding cases, eight are still pending.
Grant component of the Competitiveness Enhancement Project has a budget of USD 3 million. SMEs in Moldova receive grants for services to improve product competitiveness and accessing new markets.
