Republic of Moldova represented by Chateau Vartely wine company ranked first in the category of desert wines, within the traditional wines competition organized by the World Trade Organization. Chardonnay Sweet that represented Republic of Moldova won.

Republic of Moldova participated for the second time at this competition. At the previous contest, our country have won at two categories:  Pinot Grigio de Purcari, white wine and  Kagor Pastoral dessert wine.

At the fest, the wine experts tested the flavor, color, the quality. The formula was established by the world trade experts.
At the last year competition participated 45 countries among which Australia, Brasil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Russia, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Israel, Mexico, Republic of Moldova, Peru, Portugal, România, Slovakia, Switzerland, the USA, Uruguay, New Zealand, Marco, Spain, Ukraine, etc.
