Moldovans residing and working in France, to benefit financial support if return home
Any Moldovans working in France will be able to receive financial support if they decide to go back to Moldova. Money will be offered by authorities of both countries.
The support aims to integrate in society, reinstate job as well as start business in Moldova.
Accordingly, monthly an adult will receive 400 EUR and minor will get 300 EUR for half of year. Money is intended to cover expenditure on basic necessities, study, food, etc.
The second type of support aims to integrate to the job market which will provide citizen 50 per cent of salary according to contract, in addition to their contribution to company, for period of 1 year.
Moreover, any Moldovans coming back to Moldova, planing to open business can receive grant as well.
"After considering all expenses, the amount given to a person can amount to up to eight thousand euros, but it is not a cash-in-cash payment, but investment. For example, if a person purchases a tractor, we pay for the tractor, "said Director General of the French Immigration and Integration Office, Didier Leschi.
This agreement help stimulate Moldovans to return home and work legally in the Republic of Moldova.
The files can be sent from October 2, and the agreement can be signed for one year. There are 3128 citizens living and working in France. But the number of those illegally working is much higher.
