Parliament President Andrian Candu approached the mixed voting in the Replica show on Prime TV. 

"In history, in 2013, in April, because the mixed system was put forward by PLDM, and we also supported the mixed system, we voted in April without debates. 

"Now there have been debates in our country. I think no law before has ever debated as much as voting system. 

"Thus, I want to remind you, in December 2015 and January 2016 discussions with PLDM and PL took place on the formation of the parliamentary majority. PLDM refused to join the parliamentary majority. Then we, PDM, at that time, had two choices: we assumed the government, and did it with our Liberal Party colleagues, so the Filip government appeared; or we we had to take a step back and go to early elections.

"The European People's Party colleagues, who also have big questions with integration. If PLDM had been the parliamentary majority, there would not be criticism in the government at all now. But because they don't which means the act of government becomes very critical and unjustly and unfairly.

"PLDM won the election in 2009 and 2010, promoting the mixed system, and what has been changed since then? The fact that PLDM is no longer in government? They are welcome in the government, we have always say that both PL and PLDM are welcome in the parliamentary majority, but not only today but when it was the bank scandal", said Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu.

The show also discussed the support of the European People's Party for Independence, whether they support for Iurie Rosca or Vlad Filat. And also, how credible is the PPEU in Chisinau.

Andrian Candu told Replica that the Democratic Party of Moldova would only co-operate with right-wing parties that are oriented to the European path.

"The Democratic Party has already existed for 25 years in the Republic of Moldova and the Democratic Party has never made a coalition with the left or the extreme parties.

"Politicians are changing but idea or action has not been changed. Starting from 2018, we will only make coalition with the pro-European parties. Moldova must win European values", said Andrian Candu.
