Moldova's SIS has arrested a man suspected of fighting with the pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine. 

The investigation was carried out later last week by the Information and Security Service (SIS) and the prosecutor's office.

The man is 22, from the northern district of Florești, and has recognized himself as guilty.

Now he faces a sentence from 3 to 7 years of imprisonment.
