MOLDOVA'S PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS: Elderly voters – highly active

Almost 300.000 voters cast their ballot till 10 o’clock local time in Moldova’s presidential election, that making 10% of all electors.
According to the CEC, the profile of the Moldovan having voted is:
5.84 % aged 18 - 25;
17.21 % - 26-40,
26.88 % - 41-55,
39,06 % - 56-70 and
11 % older than 71 years.
Men show to be more active, making 52% of all voters.
The highest turnout is reported in the Dondușeni district constituency (12.54 %), the lowest in the Gagauz autonomy(7.19 %).
