Moldova's Rail Way Company (CFM) has refurbished four engines. Company manager Iurii Topala says repairing them has been the best solution, as the company has enhanced freight potential available to meet any demand.

"CFM’s all locomotives and trains are old. We have to repair them to prolong their lives. The fixed engines will serve Moldova five more years. We fixed other two engines five months ago", he said.

It took from 3 to 5 million Moldovan lei to repair a locomotive.
