More and more Moldovans benefit from services of private medical centers

The number of Moldovans frequently benefiting for the services of private medical centers is increasing. Laboratory tests, ultrasound and CT scans are the most requested.
Also, more and more people opt for private institutions when undergoing surgery.
According to the statistics of the National Center for Health Management, over 850,000 visits have been recorded last year in private hospitals, with almost 56,000 more than in 2013. The laboratory analyzes were most requested, in total there have been over two million inquiries.
Also, there were over 250,000 ultrasound examinations, and in total, nearly 16 thousand patiens have been hospitalized and nearly 22 thousand surgeries have been made.
