The leader of the Joc artistic ensemble, Vladimir Curbet will be buried today. His casket was brought to Sfinta Teodora din Sihla Church of the Capital. The relatives, colleagues and the ones who appreciated his activity came to commemorate him, today.

"As a father, he was very austere. He was leaving very often in tours. The last years he was very ill", said Victoria Curbet, daughter.

Among the ones who came to commemorate him there are his former colleagues. They couldn't stop from crying when they started to talk about the master:

"Is is a big pain for the whole country. He was a personality who dedicated his entire life to art and folk dance."

"He left an important remnant behind him. In the dance collection of Joc ensemble there are over 50 choreographic works."

"Master Curbet is alive in our hearts. He had a different vision about what happens on the stage."

"I have a lot of tours with the master. He was like a father for us."

The young from the Joc ensemble came to commemorate the master, too.

"Is is a huge tragedy for us."

Vladimir Curbet was born on December 5, 1930 in Susleni village, Orhei district. He was the artistic director of Joc ensemble in 1958. 11 years later, he founded a choreographic studio and insisted on opening the choreography department within the Art Institute. In his 55 years of activity, he trained tens on dancers, four generations of dancers.
