The municipality will offer, for the first time social housing to young specialists, people with special needs and those from socially vulnerable families.  

20 apartments will be bought by 10 million lei allocated by the Chisinau Municipal Council.  

"We'll announce the competition and invite all you to the public auction. We hope it will be transparent acquisition process", said the head of the Finance Department , Eugenia Ciumac.

Beneficiaries will be able to stay for free in these apartments, but will not have the right to privatize or transfer them to other people.

Currently, over 15,000 people are needing social housing.
