The representatives of the Interior Ministry has made declarations on the National Anti-corruption Center's report that the police, doctors and customs officers are the most corrupt.

"First of all, we are the ones who want to identify these cases. 

Our institution has the largest number of employees who daily have contact with people who break the law. It is inevitable that this number will not be higher in comparison.

There are several factors that influence the employees to accept the bribe, and we intend to fight this scourge, including by raising wages. In the last period we have more and more cases in which the whistle-blowers are employees of the police, which tells about our involvement in reducing corruption.

We will continue to collaborate with the CNA and the Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office, to prevent these cases and in order to detect corruptible factors ", quoted the statement.
