Moldova has not yet reached the peak of the COVID-19 epidemic, and the Government's relaxing the coronavirus measures have come too early, the director of the National Agency for Public Health, Nicolae Furtuna, declared on Publika TV's talk-show Report.
He added that the peak of the epidemic is expected in mid-May.
"We must note that Moldova has not yet reached the peak of COVID-19 infection. Everyone's talking about relaxing some restrictions, it'll be logical, epidemiologically justified to talk about relaxation measures," Furtună told Publika TV.
