National Bank of Moldova announces decrease of prices for 2018 year
Moldovan can be calm. The National Bank announces that in 2018 prices won't increase anymore and the inflation rate will decrease from 6,5% to 4%.
According to the National Bank, this can be explained by the internal politics and the stabilization of the prices on the external market.
''There is a stabilization of the prices on alimentary products, the variation of 9% is really small for such products as wheat, corn and soy'', declared Sergiu Cioclea, the governor of National Bank of Moldova.
The governor announces that due to NBM's politics, the debits of the credits decreased too, this leaded to the growth of the loans.
In the third semester of this year, their ponder raised with 24%.
''The rates for the credits decreased considerably in the last 12 months, we are under 10% already'', said Sergiu Cioclea.
According to the Central Bank, the balance of deposits increased with 3,5%, till 60 milliard lei.
At the same time, the most of the deposits are in lei, which proves people trust the national currency.
