The National Bank of Moldova has decreased the basic interest rate with 0,5 % form 7,5% to 7%.

The decision was approved by the Executive Committee of the Institution.

According to the National Bank, the decision was made after the decrease of the inflation rate and economical growth.

After some prognoses, the Central Bank said at the ending of the year, the inflation rate will be 5%.

In September month, the inflation rate will be 7,5 %.
