Selected wines and lots of fun in the heart of the capital. The feast is dedicated to the National Wine Day.

The event is attended by prominent officials and guests, but also ordinary people from all over the country, eager to taste our traditional wine.

This celebration is entitled "Man - the soul of wine" and brings together around 40 producers, that have proposed about 400 varieties of wine.

People can taste the choicest wines, along with traditional dishes, but also enjoy the festive atmosphere in the downtown.

Several artists will perform throughout the event on stage in the National Square. The event was opened by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, and the US Ambassador to Moldova, who did not hesitate to praise Moldovan wines.

"We have always believed in the exceptional potential and bright future of Moldovan wine. I was very impressed by their quality, but more importantly by their personality" ,  said US Ambassador to Moldova, James Pettit.
