New rules for subsidy of farmers in Moldova

New form of subsidy for Moldovan farmers. The Agency for Agriculture announced that it has developed new rules for payments in agriculture in 2017, on a period of five years.
Thus, the minimum grant amount started at 100,000 lei last year to 400,000 lei.
This year, the total budget for agriculture payments is 900 million lei.
More than two hundred million of these were donated by the European Commission.
This year, about five thousand farmers will benefit of grants.
The new regulation also provides support for Moldovan farmers eager to promote themselves on foreign markets.
Since 2017 part of the budget money will be allocated for the construction of rural tourism.
