Olga Bondarciuc, the public notary who appeared in the Kroll report, claimed that controversial businessman Veaceslav Platon, through a close person, threatened and forced her to give false testimony. 

In a video posted on Facebook, Olga Bondarciuc called for the necessary measures to stop the threats against her. The woman claims that her life and family are in danger. Veaceslav Platon's lawyer, Ion Crețu, rejected Bondarciuc's statements.

According to Bondarciuc, a person close to Platon came to visit her a few months ago and sent her several threatening messages. Bondarciuc said that she was forced to sign a document prepared in advance by his lawyer, according to which the prosecutors were to prove that Platon is innocent.

"The document said that all the notarial papers signed by me were elaborated at the request of Plahotniuc, Șor and against the interests of Platon. This's obviously wrong. Unless I had done that, Platon would have destroyed me", Olga Bondarciuc said. 

She also said that all the documents signed by her as a notary were drafted correctly, without deviations from the legislation.

"Platon's request for false testimony and constant threats are reasons that make me believe my life, the life of my child and my family are obviously in danger. Mr. President, Mr. Prosecutor General, I urge you to take the necessary measures ", the notary added. 

In reply, Veaceslav Platon's lawyer, Ion Creţu, denied everything Olga Bondarciuc said.

"She knows information and her role. She also has to be prosecuted. From now on she is trying to victimize herself, to discredit lawyers. There were no indications or anything, all this is absurd," said Ion Cretu.

The spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General's Office Maria Vieru stated that she did not receive any complaint from Olga Bondarciuc.  

We also asked for the Presidency's reaction to this issue, but so far we have not received any response.

Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo recently announced the review of Veaceslav Platon's case, whom he considers innocent. Subsequently, three video recordings of the Platon's hearings were published on different days, with a voice similar to that of Alexandr Stoianoglo. The two seem to have a friendly discussion, and the atmosphere during the hearings was pretty relaxed.

The General Prosecutor's Office confirmed the veracity of the images that appeared in the public space, which it considers as information leaks. Consequently, a criminal case was initiated against the disclosure of the data of the criminal investigation and the interference in the conduct of the criminal investigation.
