Old Orhei complex to be registered in UNESCO World Heritage List
The opening of a new informational center for tourists, installing information panels and a market for local craftsmen are just some of the projects to be carried out in Orhei town. All actions in order to promote Moldovan tourism in the country and abroad.
The conference was attended by several officials and foreign investors, Culture Minister Monica Babuc which said that Old Orhei is an important tourist attraction for our country.
The priority of the ministry is to record the Old Orhei complex into the World Heritage List of UNESCO, and other actions to be taken in the near future.
Local authorities have already solved some of the problems and plan to open a health center.
External partners said they will continue to support the Ministry of Culture in achieving its purpose.
