An employee of the Parliamentary Secretariat tested positive for COVID-19.

The institution was informed about the confirmation of the infection on the morning of Thursday, July 23.

This is the tenth case of infection in Parliament. 

On Tuesday, Parliament announced about a PAS counselor, who was infected with the novel coronavirus.

On Monday, it was announced that two MPs of the ŞOR Party contracted COVID-19: Igor Himici and Vladimir Vitiuc, who isolated themselves at home for treatment.

Subsequently, other Sor MPs were also rested and the results are negative, according to the secretary of the faction, Marina Tauber.

Earlier, three other MPs- Arina Spătaru from the DA Platform, the democrat Eugeniu Nichiforciuc and the socialist Vladimir Mizdrenco tested positive for COVID-19.
