Inattention moment of adult can lead to serious consequence their beloved ones suffer. 

Every year, more than 700 minors are hospitalized in Moldova because of burns, mostly classified as domestic accidents. The check was made by the doctors of the "Emilian Coţaga" Children's Hospital in Chisinau.

Ionel, 13 months, has arrived at the hospital with second and third degree burns after a teapot with hot water shed on him.

In addition to the pain they endure, the little one will most probably need a plastic surgery.

Doctors say that the little one benefits from free treatment and will remain in the hospital for several weeks.

Doctors say that first aid given to children in cases of serious burns has a decisive role. Most importantly, the affected area is cooled with a water compression and not with various creams, as some parents use. All medicines should only be given at the recommendation of specialists. At present, 20 children are hospitalized at the "Emilian Coţaga" Hospital for burns.
