The problem of Romanian language schools from the Transnistrian region, the free movement and the unification of the customs and fiscal tariffs between two banks of the Dniester. These are topics that the Chisinau authorities insist on discussing with Tiraspol. The statement was made by the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Alexandru Flenchea.

In the meantime, the OSCE Special Representative has proposed the compromise option for talks, which will also be agreed by Tiraspol. If there is a compromise, the negotiation process will in the "5 + 2" format be unlocked. 

"The special representative of the OSCE, Franco Frattini, has come up with a compromise formula, which has to reconcile the parties to this more technical subject. We talk about setting short-term priorities in the text of the protocol," said Alexandru Flenchea, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, the priority protocol would be signed either before or after the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting to be held in Bratislava, from December 5 to 6.

Earlier, the head of the OSCE mission to Moldova, Claus Neukirch, said that after the negotiations in the "5 + 2" format on November 8-10, the members of the meeting failed to reach a consensus to draw up a protocol with short-term priorities. The document would mean a possible advance in the process of settlement of the Transnistrian conflict.
