OSCE special representative for Transnistrian settlement to visit Chisinau, Tiraspol
The Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office on behalf of Germany for the Transnistrian settlement process, Cord Meier-Klodt, will pay on 26-28 September a working visit to Chisinau and Tiraspol, Moldpres informs.
During his visit, the official will meet with "political representatives from Moldova and Transnistria to receive states of things information from the parties after the summer break and discuss the steps to be undertaken to advance the settlement process," reads the OSCE’s release.
Also, Ambassador Meier-Klodt will meet the Mediators’ resident ambassadors (Russia and Ukraine) and observers (EU and USA) in "5+2" process, as part of the coordinated efforts of international partners on support for the parties in advancing the process.
The previous visit Cord Meier-Klodt had in Moldova was on 22-24 June this year.
