Otaci border points to be modernized by autumn (PHOTO)
Two new Otaci border control station will be rebuilt according to the most rigorous standards. These will be put into operation in the autumn.
According to the Customs Service representatives, a draft project has already been submitted, which was presented at a meeting convened by the Customs Service Director, Vitalie Vrabie. Once the sketch has been approved, the design and construction works are to be started.
New customs and border police officers will benefit from new work and control rooms. In a deplorable condition is the furniture, which will also be replaced with a new one.
Also for the comfort of the travelers, at Otaci customs will be put into operation a new sanitary block, which will be adapted for people with disabilities. The design of the new building also includes the provision of roller tables.
Vitalie Vrabie asked project managers to meet deadlines and ensure a qualitative execution of the planned works.
