Over 100 parents from Ungheni received gift boxes for infants within Edelweiss's campaign A New Life
Children born in the maternity ward from Ungheni were greeted into this world by Vlad Plahotniuc's Foundation "Edelweiss". In only one month since the launch of A New Life campaign, over 100 parents receive a gift box for their infants.
Halipli family, form Ungheni district, welcomed into their family Mihai. The infant's older sister was excited by the birth of her sibling, promising to treasure her little brother and share their parents' love and affection.
"-You waited for her? -Yes. -What will you do when Mihai will start crying? -I will give him the pacifier. -Will you also read to him? -Of course" Mihai's older sister said.
Olga Halipli is among the 100 mothers that received a gift box for her infant, within Edelweiss's campaign A New Life, launched in Ungheni on March 21.
"We wish to thank Edelweiss Foundation, especially Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc. All those items are truly a necessity and we are happy that our child's first toy will be a teddy bear" Olga Halipli said.
The products were already tested, while the clothes fit the children perfectly, claim the new mothers.
"All the items from the box are useful. We thank Vlad Plahotniuc for those gifts" beneficiary Cristina Crăciun said.
The gift boxes are helping all new parents, as they contain items required from the first minutes of the infant's life.
"Toys, wet wipes and so on. We thank Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc, as this is our sixth child and this is the first time we receive gifts" another beneficiary said.
"Those items are truly a necessity, especially since some are rather expensive" a mother said.
Each year, in the maternity ward from Ungheni are born over one thousand children. The hospital's administration claims that this campaign will contribute to increasing the natality rate.
"We are very thankful to the foundation and Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc, for the help offered to new families and the infants, because this is what taking care of the country's future truly means" director of Ungheni hospital, Andrei Alexeev declared.
In only one month, only in Ungheni district, over 100 new mothers received gift boxes.
"This spring A New Life campaign reached Ungheni, to greet into this world newborns. Edelweiss Foundation congratulates all mothers, fathers, grandparents with this beautiful event. May the children be healthy and bring to their families only joy" executive director of "Edelweiss" foundation, Lidia Cucoş declared.
A month ago, founder of "Edelweiss", Vlad Plahotniuc, announced that A New Life campaign will be extended to assist as many parents and children as possible. Today, the foundation greets into this world infants born in 24 maternity wards from the country.
