Over 1,200 jobs available at Moldovan enterprise with Japanese capital
Prime Minister Pavel Filip participated today at the opening ceremony of the Fujikura Automotive MLD factory, which operates within the Free Economic Zone Expo Business Chisinau.
"The inauguration of a new factory with more than 1,200 jobs at international standards, which in the near future will increase to 1500, is a real reason for joy for the Executive and for the whole society," said Pavel Filip.
Also, the Prime Minister noted that the increase in investments in Moldova gave the Government possibility to increase salaries, pensions and social investments, as such improving the citizens’ living conditions.
"Nothing can be more important to us than to offer a decent paid work to young people in Moldova, consequently being sure they will stay at home," the prime minister underlined.
In the context, Pavel Filip referred to the measures already taken by the Executive to facilitate the business environment's activity, such as reducing the number of permissive acts and reducing the number of entities with control functions, assuring that these actions would continue for business conditions to develop, and foreign investors to come to Moldova.
At his part, Masahiko Ito, President of the Fujikura Group, appreciated the opening and support of the Government, noting that the company found a suitable destination in the Republic of Moldova to expand its business. At the same time, the Japanese company's representative said that by 2020, the number of factory employees would increase to 3,000.
Concern Fujikura is a global manufacturer of electrical systems in automotive, electronics and telecommunications. The company opened in 1885 and has over 54,000 employees worldwide.
