After a two years interdiction, the hunters can shoot rabbits again. In Bacioi, around 30 men tried to shoot the rabbits on a field of the village.

"We hope we will hunt the rabbits", said Anatol Savin, hunter.

"Today, the team can shoot six rabbits", said Tatiana Tabaranu, manager of the Hunters Association from Moldova.

Before they started, the hunters were verified.

"We check if the number from the gun coincide with the number from the allowance", mentioned Ludmila Catanoi, sector policewoman.

The hunters were divided into three teams. The condition was that each group shouldn't shoot more than six rabbits.

The first rabbit was shoot after two hours. 

The hunting season will be finished in December. On the fields from Moldova there are around 200 thousand rabbits. On the whole season, 19 thousand rabbits are allowed to be hunted.
