Over 7,5 tones of pork were detained at the Moldo-Ukranian border.

According to the representatives of the Custom Post Service, only on October, the officers detained 153 attempts of passing the products at the border, the officers detained almost 581,1 kg of meat infected with African Swine fever.

At the same time, the officers say at the beginning of the prohibition period, that started on October 25, 2016 there were 2 304 cases that are equal with 7 592,5 kilos of meat, stopped at the border crossing.

The officers of the custom post ask the travelers to avoid to purchase pork and pass it through the border, to prevent the African Swine Fever.
