Over million tourists visited Moldova in first half of 2017

More people find intrigued to visit Moldova.
Data show that the number of foreigners crossings the state border was 1.7 million, in the first half of the year, 6% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to official statistics, most foreigners crossing the state border were from Romania - 56%, Ukraine - 27%, and the Russian Federation 8%.
From Bulgaria, 2% were registered, and in Italy only one per cent.
Likewise, other visitors are from Turkey, Israel, Germany, the United States of America, Great Britain and France.
Statistics also show that over 80 per cent preferred to visit Moldova by car.
The Moldovans who left country in the first six months dropped by 4.3 per cent compared to the corresponding period of 2016.
