Moldova records a million of vehicles circulating on the territory of the country this month, including 625,000 cars. Most of them are in Chisinau city. According to IDIS Viitorul, this means every two families in Moldova has a car. 

The number of vehicles at present is five times higher than 1980s when there were only 226 cars including from the left bank of Nistru river. 

Experts of IDIS Viitorul also say that the number of cars doubles every 15 years in Moldova. However, we will have roughly 2 million cars in at least 10 years.
