He was recruiting minor girls and sexually exploited them in a Chisinau hotel. A Moldovan man aged 29 has been detained for 72 h under suspicion of pandering.

The suspect is also the manager of the hotel and the girls come from poor families. The clients’ fees of 50-70 euros were taken by the panderer, as the minors were given small amounts.

The identified minors are 15 and 17 and are now taken care of by a social protection service.

If found guilty, the suspect may be jailed for 10-15 years.
