Parliament hosts exhibition dedicated to premature children (PHOTO)
The Parliament hosts a charity exhibition dedicated to the World Day Premature Birth. This targets to collect money to support the children who were born premature.
14 photos of premature born children are displayed. The youngest hero was born at 26 weeks and was weighing 550 grams.
"A premature born child is vulnerable, but also strong. We need the society's support in such cases. I urge you to participate at this charity campaign and support these children", mentioned Aza Onica, the President of VITAE Association.
The first visitors of the exhibition were a groups of primary school children from Gheorghe Asachi Lyceum.
The exhibition will be opened between November 12 and 16.
The World Premature Day is celebrated yearly all over the world on November 17 since 2011.
Yearly, over 2 000 children from Moldova are born prematurely. According to the statistics, 15 million children are prematurely born each year. The number continue to raise.
The exhibition is organized by VITAE Association from Moldova.
