Ionela Costachi and Svetlana Dogotaru were appointed as State Secretary in Economy Ministry, Cabinet has decided Friday after their candidacy were proposed by Economy Minister Vadim Brînzan. 

Ionela Costachi is the ex-wife of PAS deputy Dumitru Alaiba and they still keep a good relation. Alaiba then managed to place her as counselor of Economy Minister Vadim Brînzan.

Sandu Government has been accused of nepotism many times since they came to power. 

For instance, Internal Minister Andrei Nastase employed his godson, Gheorghe Balan, as Police General Inspectorate Chief. 

Then Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu named his godfather Andrei Popov as the Cabinet Chief.
