Patriots March in Orhei gathered over 20 thousand people (PHOTO)
Over 20 thousand persons from different region of Moldova participated at the Patriots March on August 27, organized in the center of Orhei. The March was leaded by Ilan Sor, the mayor of Orhei.
The march took lace near Vasile Lupu Square, on the central street of the city.

Dozens of young people dressed in white, printed Moldovan coat of arms on T-shirts, waved Moldova's flags. Among the demonstrators, dozens of veterans of the 1992 armed conflict were also present.
Ilan Şor congratulated the participants on the fact that the city of Orhei can be considered the patriotic Capital of the Republic of Moldova. "For me the Republic of Moldova means a better life for people, quality roads, strong economy. Three years ago at Orhei we started to build a strong Moldova and I promise you that in a few years together we will build a strong country",assured Ilan Şor.
"We are participating in this march tens of thousands of people from all corners of the country, of different nationalities, who speak in different languages but united by the desire to build a strong and flourishing Moldova", said the mayor of Orhei.
He said he would continue to work for the Republic of Moldova to become a country for citizens and for people to be proud of. "Let's have a country in which we and our children and grandchildren will live and over the years we can pride ourselves that Moldova is our country", said Ilan Şor in the applause of the crowd.
In Orhei, on Independence Day, the local authorities headed by Ilan Şor prepared an ample cultural and artistic program, with music, aviation shows, a big meal and impressive fireworks, writes orhei.md.
