Patrol police officer was detained for hitting a person while drunk-driving
A policeman from the National Patrolling Inspectorate was detained for the collision of a pedestrian. In the morning of 14 July, the policeman hit a woman on Grigore Ureche street in Chisinau.
A penal case was initiated.
After the impact victim was transported to hospital withmultiple fractures.
The policeman wasdetained for 72 hours, being found a degree of 0.84 mg/l of alcohol in his system.
For the security rules breaking by the person drunk-driving, the legislation foresees asentence of 4 years in jail.
