Two years later, the Straseni bridge that connects the bus terminal and the town will be given into exploitation in June. At least this is what the responsible of the bridge promised. The prime minister asked to evolve the work faster.
Even if the building work of the catwalk was finished even long ago, the bridge is not done yet.
The workers say that they needed building material from Kiev, this is why they didn't finish the project.
The chief of the building site says that they have everything necessary, but the bridge will be finished by June.
"In February, we will finish to assemble."
The new bridge is 126 meters long, it has two elevators for the persons with locomotor impairments and lightening.
People appreciate the cooperation between the local authorities and the Government and think that they will manage to build the bridge in time.
"It is very good when the authorities cooperate."
"This catwalk is a part of R-1 road. All the debts that we had passed away. I hope we will finish this project by the end of June", said the Prime minister.
Pavel Filip also visited the bypass road of the city that will be repaired this year. 850 meters of road will be repaired. The local budget allocated 16 million lei for this project.
It is important to repair the infrastructure, as Balti Free Economic Zone is placed in the nearby.
"The development of the infrastructure is very important for our country. This project will open over three thousand jobs", said Marin Ciobanu, administrator of ZEL Balti.
Then, the prime minister held a meeting with the mayor of Straseni who talked about the plans for this year.
"We will improve the sewerage system from the locality on a four thousand meters length. We also want to provide a street lightening system. In 2019 we want to lighten 20 kilometers of road", said Valentina Casian, the mayor of Straseni.
