Pavel Filip at Tbilisi: Moldova will take all necessary measures to continue developing
Prime Minister Pavel Filip has declared within the Tbilisi Belt and Road Forum, which takes place in Georgia, that Moldova will take all necessary measures to develop its economy, infrastructure, digital connection and energy security. The official also said that the country will continue to encourage partnerships allowing nearby states to obtain benefits from economy globalization.
"Among the aims authorities from Moldova follow, there are also dynamic actions in economic globalization. From our point of view, they can be reached only though free trade, development and spread of electronic trade and digitizing the economy. As well as international cooperation in the ares of developing transport and infrastructure" Pavel Filip declared.
At the end, Pavel Filip mentioned that in 2018, Moldova will take presidency over GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development. For this, he specified that authorities from Chisinau will input all necessary efforts to advance and apply the concept of transportation corridors of GUAM. Pavel Filip has also invited businessmen to invest in Moldova, mentioning that the country offers the possibility to export goods both in West and East.
"Tbilisi Belt and Road Forum 2017" is attended by nearly 1 000 representatives from over 50 countries and international organizations.
During his visit to Georgia, Pavel Filip has met with Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Chairperson of the Parliament, Irakli Kobakhidze and with President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili.
"It is the perfect occasion to review our relations and issues, bilateral questions we have, but I wish to say that relations between Georgia and Moldova are very good, this country being a friend of Republic of Moldova" Pavel Filip declared.
Prime Minister's visit to Georgia will end on 29 November.
