Pavel Filip attended opening ceremony of Ungheni Court
Pavel Filip the Prime Minister of Moldova participated today at the ceremony of inaugurating the Ungheni Court. The chief of the Government mentioned that Ungheni Court is the first building for optimizing the Courts' map of Moldova.
At the same time, the Prime Minister said that the justice reform is a priority of the Government:"Even if we are criticized, we are moving in the right direction and you will see the results. I want to assure you that the Government will be opened to communicate and will strengthen the judicial system."
Also, Pavel Filip mentioned that the economic development of the countries from the whole world depends on ensuring the rule of law.
"We made an effort to develop the business sphere, but, anyway, the investors are attracted by the countries with a fair justice. This is why I will tell you what do I believe in- the way people live in Republic of Moldova. The attorneys are responsible of the judges", said the Prime Minister.
In this context, Pavel Filip expresses his hope that the modern infrastructure of the Court will contribute to the quality growth of the justice and to live up to citizens expectations.
The new building is very comfortable and has a total surface- 4 620 square meters, it has eight courtrooms, a special room for minors, a bureau and four cells.
The Court from Ungheni town merged Ungheni and Nisporeni Courts. The construction took three years and costed approximately 60 million lei.
