Pavel Filip: EU's MFA ensured to be allocated in next years
The information published by Reuters and subsequently taken over by Agerpres, which states that Premier Pavel Filip says that the Republic of Moldova will not receive EU funding because of the non-fulfillment of the requirements - is incorrect.
In a press release issued by the Government, it is stated that "in a broadcast on the public television station, Prime Minister Pavel Filip only admitted that macro-financial assistance may not be received by Moldova this year, but it will certainly be allocated to our country next year, making no reference to the actual fulfillment of the conditions.
"At no time did the prime minister say that the Republic of Moldova did not have or would not meet the requirements established with the European Union for this financial assistance. Moreover, Premier Pavel Filip pointed out that from the institutional point of view there would not be problems.
At the same time, government's head said that the rectification of the budget for the current year did not include the money from the macro-financial assistance, because the accumulations to the state budget were higher than the expected revenues.
Moreover, the Premier insisted all investment projects planned would be carried out.
