Pavel Filip inspected road repair in Drăguşeni village under Good roads for Moldova
Premier Pavel Filip inspected today the road construction site in Drăguşeni village, Rădeni commune, Străşeni district, rehabilitated under the program Good roads for Moldova. The repair worth 1.9 million lei was changing 750 meters of road.
The reconstruction lasted ten days, the works are about to be completed today.
Pavel Filip talked with the workers about the progress of the construction works. The workers said they did their best to ensure the quality of road repair.
"I am pleased with the quality of the works, but also with the speed with which they are carried out. Road quality is ensured by our economic agents. Thus, on the basis of the investments we make on the roads, we also offer jobs to our citizens. At the same time, here in Rădeni, the children go to school in the district and other localities, the renovated road shortens this path",mentioned Pavel Filip.
The Head of the Executive pointed out that the development of the road infrastructure is one of the priorities of the Government and the Good Roads for Moldova program is an unprecedented one. Its implementation will contribute to the development of infrastructure and motivation of people to stay in villages.
"We have always talked about the quality of the roads, but for the first time we have a consistent project, directly oriented to the roads in the localities. National roads are important, but even more important is the road that starts from the home of every citizen, "the prime minister said.
The Rădeni Commune in Strășeni will benefit from the reconstruction of three stretches of road worth 3,5 million lei under the Good Roads for Moldova program. The cost of the planned works for Strășeni district is estimated at 32.5 million lei.
In total, 1200 km of roads in 1200 localities will be rehabilitated in the Republic of Moldova, with 1.6 billion lei allocated for this purpose.
