80 soldiers in five units participated solving snow-related chaos on roads last night.
National Army soldiers, rescuers, carabinieri and policemen worked non-stop and managed to help 42 cars on the roads leading to Balti, Leuseni and Orhei.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip thanked the crew who offered better conditions so that we drive safely on roads today.
"Road workers, rescuers, soldiers and police officers worked all night, helped a lot of people so today we are able to travel safely on national roads. I'm grateful for their involvement and work. I also thank the local authorities, including the Chisinau City Hall for their good cooperation, " wrote Premier Pavel Filip on his Facebook.
