Pavel Filip met the executive director of the World's Bank, Frank Heemskerk
The Prime Minister Pavel Filip had a meeting with the executive director of the World's Bank for 13 countries, Frank Heemskerk.
Within the meeting, Pavel Filip shared his gratitude according to the Word's Bank support for Moldova. The Prime Minister showed his trust according to the Partnership Strategy of the World's Bank with Moldova.
''We think this partnership will be a success not only due to the loans, but because of the support we received, the implementation of the reforms'', said Pavel Filip
The Prime Minister referred to the reforms in the affairs' area. In his opinion, those reforms already contributed to the increase of the income in the national budget.
Also, the Chief of the Executive is convinced that due to the Government's reform, the support from other countries will be used more efficiently. Pavel Filip thanked the World's Bank for its proposals according to the increase of the quality of the public services.
Frank Heemskerk encouraged the Government to benefit from the World's Bank support. At the same time, the official showed his trust according to the development of the partnership between Republic of Moldova and the World's Bank. Also, he noticed about the 25 trees that were planted due to the celebration of 25 years of the partnership between World's Bank and Republic of Moldova.
At the present moment, the World's Bank has 10 projects in Moldova, in sum of 365,3 million USD and 8 grants in sum of 14,4 million USD. Since the partnership begun, the World's Bank made other 60 projects worth over a milliard USD.
