Pavel Filip, the prime minister of Moldova monitors the snow cleaning works from the country. The official went to verify how do the winter service vehicles work and spread the nonskid material.
PUBLIKA.MD reminds that in the context of the sharp weather change, on March 18, 2018, Prime Minister Pavel Filip convened the meeting of the Emergency Situations Commission within the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Internal Affairs, Alexandru Jizdan, the IGSU leadership and other crisis management officials.
The management of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations presented a report on the situation in the country, as it was noticed that the decision-makers did not record exceptional situations related to the climatic conditions, and all the routes in the country are practicable.
Alexandru Jizdan said that MAI employees are ready to intervene to help citizens, and the General Police Inspectorate collaborates with rescuers and firefighters to provide the necessary assistance to people who may be at risk.
The Prime Minister urged the National Police to monitor difficult portions of roads and to intervene if necessary. At the same time, the official asks the electricity suppliers to be operational in the case of power cut.
