Prime Minister Pavel Filip participated at the reception organized in Chisinau for Europe Day. With this occasion, Prime Minister congratulated all those who treasure European values, mentioning that EU is the most ambitious cooperation project among states.

"European Union means, first of all, democracy, freedom and prosperity. This is how we view it and this is the future we wish for Moldova, based on those values" Pavel Filip declared.

Prime Minister also expressed his gratitude for the support offered by EU to our country and mentioned the intention to intensify cooperation, proven during the Association Council EU - Republic of Moldova, which took place May 3, 2018.

"We wish to be closer to EU, with less declarations, but with more actions and results. The ambitious aim that today's Government has set is for the European integration of Moldova to become irreversible. I am sure that we are very close to reaching this point" Prime Minister said.

In his turn, EU Ambassador to Moldova, Peter Michalko appreciated the latest developments in Moldova:

"We remain firm in our commitment for political association and economic integration with Republic of Moldova and we are happy for the gained results that highlight this cooperation."
