The opening of the Government for an efficient dialogue with the local public authorities was reconfirmed today by organizing a meeting with mayors and district presidents of the country in the context of the inauguration of the "Mărţişor 2018" National Festival. Within the event, Pavel Filip, the Prime Minister reiterated the importance of maintaining a permanent communication with the public authorities.

The chief of the Government mentioned that during the previous month, the meeting with the members of the Administration Council of the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova, as well as with the representatives of the Siret-Nistru-Prut European region was organized in order to boost the collaboration.

"We all want a modernization of the country, but I know that we should control ourselves. We can't solve all the problems over the night. I am convinced that though small but important steps, we will strengthen and develop the local authorities. Together we have big responsibilities", declared Pavel Filip. 

Within the reunion, there were discussed subjects of big interest for the localities, among which, the quality of the infrastructure. In this sense, there was presented the National Program "Good roads for Republic of Moldova". We will allocate the required resources to repair 1 200 road kilometers. We want to finish this year by repairing the roads in the villages", said the Prime Minister. They also discussed about the domestic violence, the violence victim's protection and the authorities' actions on this subject.

The representatives of the public administration showed they are opened to cooperate with the Government.
