PDM requests from CEC to make public results of verifications of all subscription lists
After rumors arose on the fact that on subscription lists might be included dead persons, the Democratic Party has requested from Central Election Commission to make public the results of the verifications of all subscription lists for all candidates registered in the presidential race.
A request in this regard was presented by Vadim Motarschi, PDM representative to CEC.
Moreover, PDM requests for all statistics to be available for public.
“PDM condemns the usage of “dead souls” for the increase of the number of signatures on subscription lists. It is unworthy for any electoral competitor to use this kind of practice, and the candidates who collected signatures this way have to get in front of people and apologize” it is written in the request.
PDM has requested from its own initiative the verification by CEC of the signatures on subscription lists, and this verification confirms the fact that there are no dead persons on their lists.
“We want for the presidential elections to be carried out correctly and that is why we are making an appeal so that the electoral process in all stages to benefit from maximum carefulness from the independent observers, all NGOs interested in the quality of democracy in Moldova” it is said in the request.
