PDM will evaluate the situation from Chișinău and Bălți before deciding its course of action at the snap elections
PDM will evaluate the situation from Chișinău and Bălți, as well as made surveys, in order to establish citizens' expectations from the future Mayors, only afterward will the party decide its actions at the snap elections. The subject was examined today during the party's weekly meetings, after the mayors of the two cities have resigned.
PDM spokesman, Vitalie Gamurari, declared during a briefing that PDM believes it important for both cities from Republic of Moldova to be rid of chaos and corruption, while people left to chose their own Mayors who will do their jobs.
”President of PDM requested the party's branches from the two cities to draw up an analysis within a week on this topic. Depending on the results, a final decision will be announced in a press statement" Gamurari declared.
Another subject discussed today were the driver's licenses, in the context that cases begun being reported of people receiving the documents without passing all the necessary steps. Vitalie Gamurari announced that, as president of PDM announced during last week's press conference, law enforcement were requested to investigate more carefully the subject and annul the driver's licenses that were issued illegally.
As a result, colleagues from the Government presented during today's sitting changes that have to be made in order cancel such licenses.
Those changes will be brought shortly into force, so that Ministry of Internal Affairs can act urgently and stop this phenomenon, to ensure traffic safety.
A number of changes were also suggested in order to simplify some procedures. Therefore, the necessity of certain documents will be excluded, such as ID, documents confirming certain personal data changes, document confirming that the person had no previous encounters with the law - information already registered on in the state's database. Therefore, a citizen will no longer need to walk around various institutions in order to gather a dossier to gain a driver's license. It will allow people to save both time and money.
PDM spokesman has also mentioned a press investigation upon the charity acts of an organization. Vitalie Gamurari claims that this subject was discussed due to its impact upon the society and it was decided that competent institutions must begin an investigation to verify the information that appeared in mass media.
"People must know if the information is real or is manipulating them. It is important for the truth to be brought to light" Gamurari accentuated.
